The total capacity included in the plan is 4.4 GW, with an estimated total investment of 3.7 billion euros.
A significant segment of the plan comprises electricity storage systems:
- 77 integrated storage units, as part of existing or new power plants, with a total capacity of 1.4 GW and 3.5 GWh of storage
- 19 standalone storage units, with 637 MW capacity and 1.5 GWh storage
In total, the plan covers 96 energy storage units, with 2 GW total capacity and 5 GWh of storage, representing an estimated investment of nearly 2 billion euros.
Local initiatives and grid analyses
The annual plan also includes 56 energy facilities stemming from the energy plans of 7 municipalities. This comprises 52 MW of solar capacity and 61 storage units. The plan includes network and market analyses to ensure system stability and guide investments in new energy facilities.
