Fuel retailer Eko Bulgaria, part of Greek energy group Helleniq Energy, has sought approval from the anti-trust authority to acquire a petrol station, propane-butane station and office building in the city of Lovech from local peer Litex, the Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) said on Thursday

The notified transaction is not expected to influence the automotive fuels retail market in the country, the CPC said in a statement.

Third parties have seven days to comment.

Eko Bulgaria was founded in 2002 and operates 101 filling stations across the country, according to company information.

Sofia-based Litex, founded in 1999, is the sole owner of Lovech-based propane-butane trader Litex Gas, commercial register data showed.
