Kosovo power grid operator KOSTT has invited interested parties to submit 
expressions of interest for an 800,000 euro ($1.0 million) consultancy deal for 
network strengthening and improvement, the European Bank for Reconstruction and 
Development (EBRD) said.
The upgrade will enable KOSTT to comply with the 
criteria for transmission grid security and stability in orderto join the 
European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E), 
whose aim is to promotemarket integration and transparency in electricity 
transmission.
The contract will be funded through the EBRD Shareholder 
Special Fund, the bank said in a notice, posted on its website on 
Thursday.
The scope of the consultant's services will include assisting 
KOSTT in the tendering procedures, procurement,evaluation and the contract 
finalisation.
The contract will be for 10 months, starting from January 
2015.
KOSTT is 100% state-owned power utility responsible for electricity 
transmission in Kosovo.
