Croatia's economy ministry invited on Wednesday bids in a first licensing round
for the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in the Adriatic
Sea.
The area, which has been offered for licensing, consists of 29
offshore exploration blocks, a tender notice published on the ministry's website
showed.
The deadline for submission of bids expires on November 3, at
1400 local time.
The tender winner will be awarded an exploration and
production licence for up to 30 years.
According to the tender's
tentative schedule, the licence should be granted by December 3 and the
agreement should be executed by March 3, 2015.
