Iran's nuclear chief Ali Akbar Salehi said the Islamic republic would halt production of 20% enriched uranium by noon (0830 GMT) on Monday, the official IRNA news agency reported.

"Voluntarily halting the production of 20% uranium enrichment is the major measure that we are undertaking on Monday by noon ," Mr. Salehi said, referring to a landmark nuclear deal clinched in November between Iran and world powers.
