Alexander Novak as saying Tuesday.
The increases will be partly due to excise duty increases, he told a government
meeting, Prime and Interfax news agencies reported.
Mr. Novak said the energy ministry is working with oil companies to smooth the
price rises and prevent sudden jumps.
