Enel Green Power (EGPW.MI) has won a $130 million contract with Mexico to build a wind farm in the coastal state of Oaxaca.

The wind plant will generate more than 350 gigawatt hours a year.

In a statement, the Italian company's chief executive, Francesco Starace, described the deal as a "major step forward in Enel Green Power's growth strategy for Latin America ."
