Nordex will deliver seven of its N163/6.X machines of the Delta4000 series. The turbines will be erected on 164-metre-high (538 ft) hybrid towers, with installation works set to start in the summer of 2026.
The contracted machines will be used for the expansion of an existing wind farm on a former military airfield in the city of Zerbst.
The deal, which also includes a 20-year premium service agreement, marks the first collaboration between the two companies.
Nordex has installed around 57 GW of wind power capacity in over 40 markets. It has manufacturing facilities in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, the USA and Mexico.
