Dr Vassilis G. Apostolopoulos, President of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (EENE) and CEO of the Athens Medical Group (AMG), gave an interview to Anastasia Paretzoglou, Brand Manager of Fortune Greece, in Greek (here), which is hereby published in English exclusively by New Europe. The Athens Medical Group joined the battle against the pandemic from the outset. It designed its own line of defence against the threat,

with the primary aim of ensuring the health of its patients, staff and doctors, and made available to the National Health System the Peristeri Clinic, which has 60 beds, 4 operating rooms and 6 ICU beds, for free.

The CEO of the Medical Group and President of the Hellenic Entrepreneurs Association (EENE), Vassilis Apostolopoulos, spoke to Fortune Greece about the current conjuncture and the day after. He is optimistic but also straightforward. He applauds the timely and decisive planning of the government, as well as the right selections of the people who were called upon to implement the government plan. Apostolopoulos is proud of the solidarity shown by the business community and points out that the integrated planning of the health map of the country, which includes the public sector, the private sector and the infrastructure of the armed forces, should be the guiding principle for the future.
