Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSA) and its partners, including Iraq's state South Gas Company, Thursday signed a contract with power and technology group ABB Ltd. (ABBN.VX) to build a 50 megawatt power plant in the southern Basra governorate, company officials and a Shell company statement said.
