State-run Qatar Petroleum could invest in energy projects in Egypt, the Gulf state's Energy Minister Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada said in remarks carried by the Qatar News Agency.

Al Sada said talks were progressing and voiced hope an agreement could be reached soon, the state-run news agency reported.
