Germany’s flag carrier Lufthansa said Monday it will cut more jobs and put more planes out of service as current losses stand at some €500 million due to the coronavirus crisis. The airline also said it plans to reduce its fleet by 150 planes by 2025. Previously, it announced 22,000 job cuts.

In June, Lufthansa agreed to a €9 billion bailout plan from Berlin, which also includes the German government taking a 20% stake in the airline group, making it its biggest shareholder.
