Sweden's Vattenfall announced Wednesday that the company is starting to build Sweden's and also the company's largest onshore wind farms

According to the announcement, the wind farm cluster will have a total of 84 turbines and will be operational by 2021/2022.

"The total capacity will be 353 megawatts, which is enough renewable energy to supply 220,000 Swedish homes with electricity," the company said.

Around 60 percent of the production will be sold in a 20-year agreement.

"Vattenfall has signed a turbine contract with Vestas and, subject to project financing being in place, a 20-year power purchase agreement with Norsk Hydro will be closed," the company said.

Vattenfall will bring two partners onboard as shareholders. The project's partners include Vattenfall with a 30 percent share, Vestas and KPA, a Danish pension fund, will hold a 70 percent stake.

The wind farm is divided into two parts: Blakliden in the Asele municipality with 50 turbines and Fabodberget in the Asele and Lycksele municipalities with 34 turbines.
