Bosnian state-runpower transmission system operator 
Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH said on Tuesday it has signed 23 contracts in 
March with total value of 14 million marka ($7.8 million/7.1 million 
euro).
The contracts mainly involve powerline upgrades, construction of 
transformer stations and procurement of goods and IT equipment, 
Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH said in a statement on its website, adding 
that since the beginning of the year it has concluded over 45 deals with local 
firms for various projects worth a total of 30 million marka.
Some of the 
bigger deals in March include a 3.2 million marka contract with the 
Elektroenergetika BL consortium for the construction of the 110/20 kV 
transformer station Laktasi 2, which should be completed in the second half of 
the year.
A contract has also been signed with a consortium of Croatia’s 
Dalekovod and its Bosnian unit Dalekovod d.o.o. Mostar worth 2.5 million marka 
for the upgrade of the Mostar 4–Siroki Brijeg and Siroki Brijeg-Grude 110 kV 
powerlines.
A 2.5 million marka deal was signed with IT company Lanaco 
for the procurement and installation of Enterprise Resource Planning system 
solutions.
Elektroprenos-Elektroprijenos BiH operates in both the 
Muslim-Croat Federation and the Serb Republic, the two autonomous entities that 
make up Bosnia and Herzegovina.
