EDF Energies Nouvelles (EEN.FR) announced consolidated revenues of EUR235 million for the first quarter of 2011, down 5.3% compared with the first quarter of 2010.

EDF Energies Nouvelles (EEN.FR) announced consolidated revenues of EUR235 million for the first quarter of 2011, down 5.3% compared with the first quarter of 2010.

MAIN FACTS:

- EDF Energies Nouvelles reported an increase of 28.8% in Generation revenues at comparable structure (rise of 17.7% on a reported basis) to EUR126 million in spite of highly unfavorable wind conditions in Europe .

- Revenues from Europe fell 16% to EUR178.3 million, while revenue from the Americas rose 60% to EUR56.8 million.

- Earlier this month Electricite de France SA (EDF.FR), or EDF, which controlled 50% of EDF Energies Nouvelles filed a public tender offer to buy the remainder of the company at EUR40 per share.

- EDF Energies Nouvelles has reiterated its target of 4,200 MW in net capacity in service by year-end 2012, including at least 500 MWp in solar capacity. The Group is also restating its objective of 2011 EBITDA of at least EUR560 million.
