Serbia is interested in participating in the construction of Bulgaria's 
second nuclear power plant, Belene, with a stake of at least 5%, higher than the 
one offered by the government in Sofia, Belgrade-based media reported on 
Tuesday.
	Bulgaria has offered Serbia a stake of one to two percent in the 
plant.
	Bulgaria has asked Serbia and Croatia to say whether they will 
participate in the project by November 13, when Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir 
Putin arrives on a visit to Sofia, Serbian daily Blic 
reported.
	Serbia is interested in the Belene plant contruction and could finance 
its participation in the project with own funds, Serbian Energy Minister Petar 
Skundric told Blic.
