The French government is preparing to call for tenders for a massive offshore wind-farm project requiring an investment of between EUR15 billion and EUR20 billion, reports Les Echos, citing government sources.

The installation will consist of at least 600 turbines and generate at least 3,000 megawatts of power, the report says.
