Kyrgyzstan
and
are threatening to blow it up unless the interim government provides security
for them to leave safely, the Daily Telegraph reports on its website Wednesday.
Uzbeks constructed barricades around the terminal, a facility in Nariman
village, just outside of
Osh
,
which stores most of the gasoline distributed to the region, the
U.K.
paper
reports.
However, even though Kyrgyz military is positioned to retake the depot, the
Uzbeks have requested an escort by Russian or international forces, claiming
that they don't trust Kyrgyz security forces, the report says.
