Qatar has invited Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) to participate in a project involving liquified natural gas, or LNG, the Russian company said Thursday.
Qatar has invited Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) to participate in a project involving liquified natural gas, or LNG, the Russian company said Thursday.

Gazprom may participate in an LNG project at Qatar 's Northern Field after 2014, when a moratorium on increased production at the field is lifted, Gazprom said following a meeting between the company's Chief Executive Alexei Miller and high-level Qatar officials.
