Russia's federal budget will receive an additional 78 billion rubles ($2.6 billion) in 2010 due to a newly agreed oil deal with neighboring Belarus, the Interfax news agency reported Friday, citing Deputy Energy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky.
The two countries agreed late last month on a new pricing deal, under which Belarus will pay higher export duties on Russian oil.
Russia--the world's biggest oil producer--began reducing supplies to Belarus' domestic market, after a pricing deal between the two countries expired Dec. 31.
