The International Atomic Energy Agency declined to comment Wednesday on
an apparent U-turn by Iran on a deal, brokered by the atomic watchdog itself,
to supply nuclear fuel to a research reactor in Tehran.
"We are aware of the media reports and we have nothing to add," a
spokesperson for the U.N. watchdog told AFP.
A day before, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the Islamic republic
would have "no problem" sending stocks of low-enriched uranium to
other countries to be refined into reactor fuel, as required under a deal drawn
up under the IAEA's auspices last year.
