Srbijagas, Gazprom Talks On S Stream Pipe, JV Next Wk

Serbian state gas company Srbijagas and Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) plan to start talks next week in Belgrade on beginning the construction of a 400-kilometer stretch of the South Stream pipeline through Serbia and setting up a joint venture for the construction, Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic said Thursday, Prime-Tass news agency reported.
Serbian state gas company Srbijagas and Russian gas giant OAO Gazprom (GAZP.RS) plan to start talks next week in Belgrade on beginning the construction of a 400-kilometer stretch of the South Stream pipeline through Serbia and setting up a joint venture for the construction, Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic said Thursday, Prime-Tass news agency reported.

Gazprom and Srbijagas signed an agreement in February 2008 to set up the joint venture for the construction of a pipeline through Serbia with an annual throughput capacity of at least 10 billion cubic meters of gas.
