Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin Thursday said Moscow would limit supplies of natural gas to nations that impede transit, but doesn't see problems in deliveries to Europe.
Russia is trying to recover arrears from Ukraine, which has fallen behind on payments for its gas needs.
Previous disputes between the two countries have resulted in Russia reducing supplies to Ukraine, a key transit nation to Europe.
