Iran has "made the choice to expose itself to new sanctions" by failing to clearly respond to proposals to resolve international concern over its nuclear ambitions, the French foreign ministry said Wednesday.
It added, however, that "the path to dialogue remains open" between Tehran and the six major powers - including France - which had offered to freeze sanctions in return for Iran curbing its uranium enrichment work.
France "intends to pursue its efforts at dialogue and will not neglect any possibility of negotiation with Iran," the foreign ministry said in a statement
