The oil output of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, or SOCAR, fell 1.3% on the year to 5.136 million metric tons in January-July, the company's press office said Tuesday, Prime-Tass news agency reported.
SOCAR's onshore and offshore oil output was 4.344 million tons in January-July, down 1% on the year.
In addition, three joint ventures and two consortiums set up by SOCAR and foreign oil companies produced 725,600 tons of oil in January-July, down 3% on the year.
In January-July, SOCAR also produced 4.499 billion cubic meters of natural gas, up 37.3% on the year.
