German utility EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (EBK.XE) Friday said its 840-megawatt nuclear reactor Neckarwestheim 1 resumed power production earlier in the day.
The power plant had been shut down May 21 as a precautionary measure to fix a leak in a lid gasket of the reactor pressure vessel.
In early May, the reactor resumed power production after a brief planned maintenance outage.
The Neckarwestheim reactor is due to be shut down for a second planned maintenance outage in October 2008.
