Russian president-elect Dmitry Medvedev said Tuesday that he will travel to Kazakhstan and China on his first foreign trip following his May 7 inauguration.

"My first trip will be to Kazakhstan...and from there to China. That will be my first foreign trip," Medvedev told journalists in Moscow.
