Victoria Oil & Gas PLC (VOG.LN) Wednesday said Celtic Resources Holdings PLC (CER.LN), a Kazakhstan gold-mining company, has acquired a 4.49% stake in the Moscow-based energy company with operations in Russia.

No valuation of the Celtic-held stake in Victoria Oil & Gas has been disclosed.

Celtic Resources, majority-controlled by Russian steel maker OAO Severstal (CHMF.RS), is in the process of delisting its shares from trading on the London Stock Exchange's AIM trading floor.
