Geothermal project in Geretsried
Hörmann Energie und Umwelt GmbH and Geysir Europe GmbH is developing a geothermal combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Geretsried, in the south of Munich in Bavaria, Germany. In the next two years a total investment of 70 Mio € in the geothermal project is planned. In the year 2010 the drilling work will be started.

EGS for Mauerstetten?
According to German local news (Allgäuer Zeitung) on 2nd December 2009, Exorka, the developer of the Mauerstetten project, is confident to continue the project by installing a petrothermal system.

GEOFAR gives a speech at WGC 2010
On April 25 – 30 the World Geothermal Congress takes place in Bali. GEOFAR will give a speech on the outcomes of the analysis of the financial instruments and the planned financial scheme.
